The Trinity Translational Medicine Institute (TTMI) is located at Ireland’s largest acute general hospital in the country (St James’s Hospital) but also encompasses researchers and clinicians at Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) and the National Children’s Research Centre (NCRC) in Crumlin. Researchers within TTMI work closely with their clinical colleagues at the associated hospital sites and the translational research areas within the institute include:
- Cancer
- Immunology and Infection
- Genomics of human disease
- Nano-Medicine.
The core facilities include Flow Cytometry, High Content Analysis, Immunohistochemistry, Laser Capture Microdissection, Functional Genomics and Next generation Sequencing.
TTMI are keen to develop strong collaborative relationships with members of the BioLago Health Network that are interested in applying for large European framework funding and also for companies seeking Academic/Clinical partners to develop their technologies.
